I can't believe Daft Punk sampled that kickass guitar bit from Evil Woman. It's so unique to that song that it actually kinda bothered me. They disguise it well but I could still hear it. Good track but I can't get over that one tiny bit. Very very creative at least.

Why would you sample Family business by Kanye when the whole first 90seconds is a series of samples and autosounds from radio and phone messages etc. They are personal to Kanye, it's a bit weird to be honest. Daft Punk tho? Mad Respect!

I think there's another point to the Devil in a New Dress sample you're kind of missing, Bink! (the producer) took 2 parts of the sample and mashed them seamlessly so they sounded like one continuous sample. Other than that I kind of agree it's a bit lackluster, but that's still something I wanted to point out.

If you just take a part from a song without adjusting it it is sampling but you'd rather refer to it as lifting because they didn't change it

I mean yeah it's kind of more impressive to have these tiny samples (although with the Bill Withers drums it felt like they could have just played them themselves), but I definitely prefer a noticable sample, because as Roomie says you like a song a little less when you find out something like the horns on Crazy in Love weren't written for it, so... yeah. For some reason I felt the need to share this.
