WOW! Am I hearing this correctly?!? There's too much "good" music now, as opposed to the past?!? Seriously? Todays music, I'm not speaking production because technology has improved, but raw vocal, instrumentation & song writing is FAR inferior to 25+ years ago I should clarify this...MOST! There are some extremely talented people today...but that is the exception, not the rule

I'm guessing that each persons location will affect which song is THE breakout songs for these artists... An American or Canadian artist will break out with songs earlier in the US or Canada than what might break in another country. I'd bet that people in the UK might say Adele's breakout song was Chasing Pavement... In America there would be a solid debate for Taylor Swift.... as a country artist? As a pop Artist?
